Hello! I’m Noor

I'm a PhD Candidate at Carnegie Mellon University's Human-Computer Interaction Institute.

I'm advised by Dr. Erik Harpstead and Dr. Jessica Hammer. I’m also a recipient of the NSERC Postgraduate Fellowship and the Generation Google Scholarship.

My research focuses on designing tools that empower digital creators. I’m particularly interested in how systems can leverage creator data to support more authentic, personalized, and expressive creative workflows. I’ve explored this through projects in live streaming, game development, and augmented reality.

I'm currently interning at Ramen as a UX Researcher, helping the team build Aura, an Unreal Engine AI assistant. I'm also currently on the job market (!!) and seeking to start a new position in August 2026.
