Hello! I'm Noor :D

I'm a Research Scientist on the UI Intelligence team at Apple. I recently completed my PhD at Carnegie Mellon University's Human-Computer Interaction Institute, where I was advised by Dr. Jessica Hammer and Dr. Erik Harpstead.

At Apple, my research focuses on Generative UIs and developing personalized agentic experiences. My PhD research explored how to develop personalized, data-driven creativity tools that support domain experts in their craft.

My work has been supported by the NSF, NSERC, and Google. I've also had the privilege of working at Adobe, B5 Studios, and Ramen VR. There, I explored how to support creative practicioners in video content creation, AI storytelling, and game development.
